Most of my students had their teachers before they met me. They started dancing at a young age. Lisa was also with many teachers before she met me. I am her latest teacher before she passed the audition and moved to S. Korea.
Lisa was shining since the beginning. She was a cheerful girl. I've never seen her sad.she always had a smile on her face (Krukoy grinned to mimic Lisa). That time she was called PokPak. I like the name. Iit sounds fidgety just like her.
Who would reject a mischievous bubbly girl like her. she also gave me full participation. Like when she was preparing for an audition, she gave it her all. She danced & sang like it was her last.
Later she cut her hair short. It seemed like a Thai label was considering her at that time but it wasn't finalized yet. Then YGent came to open an audition in Thailand. Lisa told that she would give it a try. Itrained her fast songs & slow songs. She passed in the end. She told me "Teacher. I made it. They took only one" and I told her how was it possible. But maybe the Korean label saw her through. She used dancing as her primary talent and singing as her secondary talent. There were some Koreans who looked forward to seeing her because there were rumors going around that there would be a new trainee who was especially good in dancing from Thailand. But it's not like she wasn't good at singing. She was ok. There was someone who asked me on IGif Lisa couldn't sing. She sang to pass the audition, she absolutely can sing.
Lisa trained intensively almost everyday. In a period of almost 6 years, other people could've finished a masters degree with a graduation certificate guaranteed. But at the time Lisa moved there, everything was unpredictable. There had always been a question, ,"when would she". I asked her (about the debut) in the beginning. Later, I stopped mentioning it because Iknow she was already under pressure. During those times I guess she might've thought of going back from time to time because things were uncertain. "Will I debut? Will I not? What if they cancel and I have to go back?" To make it there, patience is needed. Her Korean was not fluent. She started from scratch. When she needed warmth, her parents were in thailand. She grew and worked by herself.
She had to learn new things, make new friends live in a new environment. Wandering was possible only in the beginning. In her training days, Lisa was still a cheerful girl like before. When she came back, she was lively but i knew, I talked to her mom, that she was discouraged. It had been too long.
Lisa at a young age had layered short-length hair. (T/N It could also mean medium length hair in this context) She always carried a backpack and wore a pair of red chunky sneakers. You could tell this girl wasn't a nerd type. She walked in with Bambam. Bambam was younger and also smaller. They looked like siblings. They grew up together. There's no chance that they would end up falling for each other. Lisa enrolled in my class first. But Bambam went to Korea first. He was in Korea only during a school break. So after he came back, Lisa suggested Bambam to take a class with me.
There were moments she showed that she cared about me. She sent me some fruits, reiterating her mom to hurry before the fruits lose its freshness. She told me she missed me. She is gentle, I don't want to talk too much with her. We are on each other's Line contact, both Lisa and Lisa's mom.I know she is tired. But she still tells me to talk or teach her like before. She said" Thank you kab kab*" She is a witty one
* Kab is a Thai's spoken polite particle for men
For her only wish her good. I don't thinklcan do anything much. She is growing in her career. I dare not to be reckless about her. Iknow she has little rest time. If it is not for anything important, I will not disturb her. I taught her that when she rises to fame, everything looks all great. Everyone chases after you. It's the same like what other artists experienced. But when the tables turn, you'll have to accept it and live on. It's hard to be a celebrity but at least you are satisfied. People are calling your name anywhere you go. But one day if things change, it would be hard. If you understand this and would able to move on, your life would be happy.
l also taught her to treat her team nicely. It doesn't mean to lose herself. She just has to be herself. Her mom also told her that it's the best to be her true self. She is strong considering what she went through in the past. I would say that she gained life experiences to a certain extent. Looking at her now,I think she is strong enough. I told her to take care of herself, stay healthy, and be nice to others like she always is.
